    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Westover teaches in the very traditional lecture style. This may be good for some people, but it was difficult for me to stay engaged. If you are like me, I would recommend sitting up front.

    Course highlights:

204 covered the basics of Biology--from Ecology, to Evolution, to DNA. There is likely nothing in this course you will learn that you haven't at least heard of before, but it goes far more in-depth than any High School class I ever took.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For me, it helped to take my own notes before the lecture. Dr. Westover reads from the PowerPoints she posts on Blackboard for her lectures but often elaborates on different key points. Take notes so that you have a basic understanding of the topic, but leave space for questions and elaborations. Also, ask questions! Dr. Westover is very happy to answer them.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is mandatory for all biology majors and some other majors. the teacher did a great job not only teaching the material but also helping all her students to understand it.

    Course highlights:

the highlights of this class was the mastering biology work. it gave me extra practice for the material we learned in class. my favorite thing i learn was the hardy weinburg equation.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

always take notes and do homework. study for all test and exams you have to take.
