    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is fine, but prepare yourself for complicated tests and a 5 page paper.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot about developmental psychology and learned more about the nature vs. nurture theory.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get started on that research paper early and don't count on her e-mailing you a practice test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I came to college undecided about what I wanted to major in, but after a week in this course, I've decided to declare my major as psychology.

    Course highlights:

I've learned a lot about the way humans think and the reasoning behind certain human behaviors.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, you must read the book, pay attention in class and READ THE BOOK.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

At first I was very hesitant to take psychology because everyone said it was difficult, but Mrs. Collins posts notes on blackboard that you need to print out and bring to class everyday and fill in as you go through the powerpoint. It's a lot better than writing all the notes yourself! She brings a lot of positive energy and makes you want to learn.

    Course highlights:

As crazy as it may sound, my favorite part of this course learning about disorders like schizophrenia, personality disorder, etc. She even plays a video that allows you to "experience" what it's like to have voices in your head. One of the highlights of the course for people who aren't quite good at test taking, she assigns papers that can help boost your grade and as long as you do the minimum amount of papers, you can choose whether or not you want to skip a paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely print out the notes, in the long run it's only going to put less work on you. It's also better to do your papers sooner rather than later.
