    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Goldey is absolutely amazing!! She may scare you at first but participate in class and do your homework and you will be fine.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included all the hands on activities. I don't think I ever had a boring class, or one where we just did book work the whole time, she was always engaged with us.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do the Mastering Biologys over and over again, I promise it will help a ton!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is definitely a weed-out class, but it is a great transition course from high school. It requires a lot of critical thinking and application-based learning.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about thinking outside of the box and applying textbook concepts in the lab.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. Be on time. Do not use your phone in class, Dr. Smith hates that.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is a very passionate teacher and is willing to help you get the topics that you are struggling with.

    Course highlights:

Not being a biology major, it was very interesting to learn things I did not know/need to know. I enjoyed learning about genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get ready to actually put quality work into the subject material. The labs can be very long and tiring but help you understand the material you are learning in class.
