Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Recommend, but there may not be a choice if its a prereq

It was general biology. Not much different than what should be expected

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everything. multiple choice tests can have multiple answers, so its impossible to find the right answer by elimination

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course. Dr. Cruze is so happy and wants only the best for her students. She is completely invested in her class and the material at hand. She is always looking for ways to make the course better and changing things based on the students. She recognizes that no student is the same and really tries to find a balance for everyone. The material is pretty basic as well and not terrible challenging. Even lab isn't the full three hours, normally at least. Overall, this is a great course to take.

    Course highlights:

The labs were really fun and educational. There was a lot of hands on work and we even created our own experiment from scratch and followed it all the way through. We did our data analysis and figures and then presented all of our information on a scientific poster.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook, and complete the optional assignments because they really do help your grade. Go to her during office hours, she's a lot of help and is so willing. There's a lot of group work, so try to sit near people who you like or at least know.

Recommend taking Dr. Ivy for BIO 150. Not an easy class especially since it was the first semester at college, but she's a great teacher and will help you whenever you need it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Time managing skill is really important for this course
