This class was tough.
Honestly, after not having Spanish in the 12th grade, I should have probably taken Spanish 201 instead of this class, even though I was placed in this class by Wofford because I had 3 years of Spanish in high school. The year off made this class difficult for me, and Begonia did not do a lot of true in-class teaching. She made a lot of assignments that we did on our own, and then she reviewed them. This made this class hard for me in particular. She did, however, notice that I was having trouble, approach me with her concerns, and found me a tutor. She is a great mentor.
We thoroughly covered subjects on empathy, sympathy, social conscience This also one of two classes that made up the Living Learning Community I was a part of so we also learned a lot about how to treat others and social awareness.

Advice for students:
If you did not take Spanish in 12th grade, seriously consider taking Spanish 201 instead. If you do take this class, with this instructor, study, study, study; do not fall behind; do not be ashamed to get a tutor if you need one.... they really help!
