    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Because it teaches students about socialization which is important because we will always have people around us, therefore we need to understand the functions of socialization in our life.

    Course highlights:

I’ve learned that through body language we may accidently convey a false message to those around us and that body language is just as effective to communication as speaking with our voices. You must be careful to only produce the language you mean to communicate.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As I believe you should always do, regardless of what class you’re faced with acing, you should always get your study time in. Make sure you read your chapters given to you. Strive to succeed because, even though this class is a requirement, you learn a lot of valuable information you may always take with you no matter what your walk of life is.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you want to dig deeper into how the world works, this is definitely for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned about social stratification which was super cool. The biggest highlight though was learning about religion which is part of the social stratification. It really opened my eyes to so much and I'm so happy that I took this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be open minded. Read the chapters thoroughly. Pay attention to lectures and takes notes! Read, read, read!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a required class. It was not my favorite, but it was good for practicing study skills.

    Course highlights:

The professor had a way of asking questions that raised controversy. I believe he did this as a way to get us thinking about where we stand on different topics such as health care and human rights.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your definitions and be familiar with the chapter. Participation and being up to date on current events counts for a lot in this class.
