    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was difficult, but definitely went more in detail about the history of the United States. If you are by chance a history nerd like myself, I recommend this course for you. Plus it is also an advanced placement class, so at the end of the year if you score well on the AP Exam, it will help you in college so you won't have to take that class again unless you wanted to.

    Course highlights:

At the beginning of the year, we learned about Columbus and what really went down during his so called "discovery". We began to move through the years, discussing how the Native Americans lived and cultivated the Americas before settlement began. We went into all the wars that happened throughout America, such as the Revolution, the Civil War, WWI, WWII, and so on until we made our way up to present day United States of America.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

One thing I learned very well is to never procrastinate on the assignments. They will literally take you forever to complete and should not be underestimated. Be thorough in every paragraph of any essays you are required to do. Also, don't forget to cite your source no matter what and do the same with any quotes. This is necessary in order to pass the class.
