Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While this is a great class for future educators, it is also a great class to fulfill a general requirement. This class provides students with a well-rounded knowledge of the history of education along with today's teaching methods. We all have gone to school, so it's a great class to be able to relate to. My professor was great! I highly recommend this class!

    Course highlights:

I learned the background of American education and how it impacts students and teachers today. My classmates and I got to learn about various eras of education along with some important people that had huge impacts on today's education systems. The class also touched on child behavior and learning disabilities to be able to explain to students how education impacts each student differently.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You'll need an open mind to succeed. You'll have to share a lot about your educational background, so be prepared to think about the past 12+ years of your educational experience. I would also recommend volunteering and working with children while taking the class. The more you're able to relate to children and how they learn, the easier the course material will be to understand.
