Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class gives good advice on how to use math in real life. Professor Gregg teaches very well. She gives advice on how to use your skills to help yourself later on in life and how to save money responsibly.

    Course highlights:

In this class you learn about circuits, voting methods, and interest rates and how they affect your money. Those are just a few things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework. It helps you study for the tests and helps you comprehend the material. Don't slack off just because you think it's easy. Homework might save your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class contains almost no math that I learned all throughout high school. While I excelled in classes like pre-calculus, algebra, and geometry, I struggled immensely with the application of math for "the real world."

    Course highlights:

The professor I had was the saving grace for this course. He was very kind and patient, and truly wants his students to succeed. I learned a few useful things in this course, such as how to plan for a retirement and calculating a rough estimate for a mortgage loan.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would go in and talk to the professor about each and every question you have. Even if it is not related to the course, the professors are there and will listen and help you the best they can. Make sure to complete your homework, even though they seem like just a few little points here and there that can be spared, they add up quickly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was very useful and included many topics that have practical life applications.

    Course highlights:

There were many varying topics, most of which didn't require heavy calculations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all of the problems and understand how they work. Don't be afraid to do extra problems if you need to. If anything comes up that you don't understand talk with the professor.
