Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This class was very interesting and one that I think would be great for any student. Learning the fundamentals of law at a local, regional, and national level was very beneficial. We studied law related to business as well as law in general.
We learned about law in the different courts. Whether it was supreme court cases, circuit court or any other level we learned about the different types of cases as well as different levels cases are tried at. Learned about a number of cases related to businesses and how decisions in certain cases have affected the way businesses today. Class was based on doing case studies and writing briefs and was based on exams for overall grade.
Hours per week:
Advice for students:
Learning how to do the case briefs is one of the most important things in the class. There is 1 case brief per week and they can make over a letter grade difference. Doing well on exams is probably the most important thing you can do. The exams are usually about 30 multiple choice over topics from the text book and 2 essay questions over cases. Do the study guides and study the case briefs and that will help make a big difference on exam performance.
