Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for several reasons. For starters, Dr. Fiegen is an amazing teacher and will help you whenever you need. Also, EDFN 338 is a required course for those of you entering the College of Education and you will be able to learn the history of education.

    Course highlights:

The projects were the highlights for me because it felt as though I was being tested to demonstrate my knowledge of the subject. During this course, I learned about the multitude of teaching philosophies and which ones are student centered or teacher centered. Also, I learned about the different types of assessments teachers can use.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do proceed in taking EDFN 338 make sure to do the homework as soon as it is unlocked and break it up into two to three days if you have the chance. The homework is very time consuming but as long as you manage it you will be able to pass the class. Also, make sure to read all of the chapters because small details from them will most likely be on quizzes.
