    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very difficult. I wouldn't recommend taking Anatomy at Lake Area Tech if it's required for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human body through many labs, tests, and homework assignments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to devote a ton of your time to this class and not have much time left for the rest of your classes.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it is a bit easier than most anatomy courses in the South Dakota area but it is still challenging. Jensi is an excellent teacher who is truly interested in making sure her students learn, and is very easy to work with regarding conflicting schedules.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic anatomy of all the human body systems. We did not go very in-depth into cranial nerves, but every other system was in-depth, and we even reviewed the physiology for some processes.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This is not a class you can slack in and expect to get an A. I put in at least an hour and a half of work every day, often more. Do the readings, and also take notes. Draw pictures to help explain some processes to yourself, and explain the processes out loud to yourself, as if you were explaining them to someone else.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend, because it is required of you for a health degree. But it's also very interesting how the mind and everything in the body all works together.

    Course highlights:

I have learned so much from this class! Bones, muscles, endocrine system, and the list just goes on. It's very informative. Also, learning from the cadavers is amazing. It is a fantastic experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to study everyday and put the time and effort in. You also have to be self motivated to get on and listen to the narrated notes and do the activities.
