Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much in this class without being extremely overwhelmed with the workload. She did not rush us to finish essay after essay. Instead, she stressed the importance of taking your time on them to make sure they are the best that they can be.

    Course highlights:

I learned that different English teachers focus on different aspects of writing. First semester, I had a professor who heavily focused on grammar. In this course, the professor heavily focused on global revisions rather than small errors. Due to this knowledge I learned about global revisions and looking at essays as a whole, I became a better, well-rounded writer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to stay on track with your reading assignments. Not only will they affect the grade you get on your reading quizzes, it will also help your engage better in the discussions and include the stories into your essays.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great way to analyze and to get to know more about trauma. It helps you see what someone might be going through in their life and also how severe and some of the effects it can have. Also you get to watch three different movies in that class about trauma and then write papers about the trauma in the movie. Also great way to improve writing skills. Teacher is excellent as well!

    Course highlights:

You learn the basics about trauma. Originary and Secondary Trauma, PTSD, repression and dissociation, testimony and witness, and you learn about how trauma can effect someones life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

A good knowledge on how to write a decent paper. Also the basics of MLA format. You have to be able to write as if that person has no idea about the subject.
