    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because Mr. Snyder is a very smart man and is very enthusiastic about what he teaches.

    Course highlights:

The discussions in class are entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Just recently we discussed an essay by Richard Hofstadter that talked about democracy and how it doesn't always work for the best.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute to read the essays, or do class work: it will not end well.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was not too difficult, yet challenging enough to keep it interesting. However, since I took it online, my only way to communicate with my professor was by email, I sometimes didn't get some questions answered for a few days.

    Course highlights:

I developed my critical thinking skills in this course, as it emphasized analyzing media and discovering hidden messages.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to think critically! Keep your mind open to see everyday things (like tv and magazine ads) different from how you normally would.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to more successfully write an argumentative essay.

Read the assignments and do the work on time.
