    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Kowalski knows how to teach and connect with students, but definitely tests incredibly hard.

    Course highlights:

The tactics he used to connect with students, like to the penguin, Kowalski, from Madagascar the movie. I learned a lot of Calc techniques that made it easier to pass the second time around.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, restudy, and when you think you know it, forget it all and study harder.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a very interesting class that joins the concepts of Calculus I to the advanced math classes. The topics are very interesting, and the teacher does an excellent job of tying those concepts to everyday experiences we would be encountering in our field.

    Course highlights:

I looked forward to class every day, because of the enthusiasm of the teacher and my peers. We would all participate in the learning and discussion. There was never a dull moment in this class. I learned how math concepts work, and who discovered them. I also learned the real-life applications of those concepts. It broadened my horizons in the math field, and I am looking forward to taking more advanced math classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on time management. The teacher is very laid back, which means he puts a lot of the responsibility of handing in assignments and extra credit on you. Go to class, and take a lot of notes. Most importantly, go to office hours. The teacher is excellent about sitting down and working through any problems you are having difficulty with. This is the best way to make sure you are understanding the concepts, and that you will ace the tests!
