    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class. However, I love to write. Every week you will be writing. However, she tells you exactly what she wants and what she is looking for. She is in NO way a boring teacher. My favorite part is that she lets us write about whatever we want. She grades on the work done instead of opinion. This class was wonderful. I actually chose to have her for my comp 2 class.

    Course highlights:

How to be a better writer. I already thought I was good but I learned there is so much room to grow. I didn't not know the different writing styles really mattered. Writing style matters with what you are writing and with who the audience is.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do exactly what she says. In every outline and rough draft she tells you EXACTLY what was wrong with the paper. If you fix it, you get a higher grade. It really is very simple. If you need help, ASK! She loves questions and loves to help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only is this a required course for general studies, it helps build grammar, spelling, and, obviously, composition skills. Professor was great, too!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the many essays required of us students. I realized, during this course, that I'm more skilled at composing essays than I initially thought! I really enjoy getting the positive feedback from the professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with your journals! Plan your essays ahead of time. Find which method of prewriting works best and stick with it.
