    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Honestly if you are not a science major I would not recommend taking Astronomy. I purposely took it with a friend thinking we would be able to help each other but it was a lot more complicated than that. A big part of it too also was that it was an online class and you really have to make sure to keep up with your work because time will slip away from you!

    Course highlights:

Learning about the planets and their orbits and rotations was one of my favorite parts because online we got to use a simulator that really showed you how it worked. I also really enjoyed getting to learn the different phases of the moon and when they would appear.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Especially if it is online just make sure you keep up with your assignments because if you don't you will find yourself sinking pretty quickly!
