    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This is the class that prepares you for the start of your nursing career. It's important to grasp each concept the professor discusses in order to do well in preforming assessments.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to properly give full assessments on patients and other skills such as taking vital signs. I also learned more about different body systems and how to assess each on a patient.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    In order to succeed in this class, I'd recommend attending every class time, recording lectures, and practicing every day for the skills examination.

    Course Overview:

    This course will really prepare you on how to assess a patient from head to toe. Once you understand what to look for it will make it a lot easier to notice what is abnormal. Great introductory course!

    Course highlights:

    Head to toe assessment, reflexes, breast examinations, skin examination. I learned how to take a blood pressure, count respiration's and check pulse. We also learned the differences between adults and children, like what to expect with growing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Practice, practice, practice those blood pressures and head to toe assessment and really understand what you are doing.
