    Course Overview:

    This course will really prepare you on how to assess a patient from head to toe. Once you understand what to look for it will make it a lot easier to notice what is abnormal. Great introductory course!

    Course highlights:

    Head to toe assessment, reflexes, breast examinations, skin examination. I learned how to take a blood pressure, count respiration's and check pulse. We also learned the differences between adults and children, like what to expect with growing.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Practice, practice, practice those blood pressures and head to toe assessment and really understand what you are doing.

    Course Overview:

    This is your first nursing course at Baptist College of Health Sciences. The power points help tremendously. Mrs. Brittingham always have an interesting story behind most of the material she discuss. Those stories help familiarize things for the test. She is a helpful and wants everyone to succeed

    Course highlights:

    I learned different skills like how to do blood pressure and also a head to toe assessment. The most important things you learn is how to assess a patient for things that are normal and abnormal.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Study as soon as you get the material. Do not procrastinate.
