Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is not your average english class. You write about topics based on pop culture which makes it more relevant which further helps students understand the lessons.

    Course highlights:

Through beneficial hands-on activities, I learned how privileged men and women are in their own ways. It was a relevant class for it discussed real-life situations relating to me as well as my male counterparts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading and homework assigned in preparation for the next class. The class is only hard if you make it hard!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor McDowell is absolutely fantastic. He wants you to succeed, and he is always there when you need help. He is also so funny. I looked forward to his class every day.

    Course highlights:

During this class, I learned that it is sometimes okay to not sound so serious in your writing. In certain contexts, it is appropriate to include a joking or sarcastic tone. This had never occurred to me before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is not too difficult, and it can be fun if you find the right section for you. However, you should be prepared for what you were taught about writing in high school to be challenged.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I never would have realized how much more my writing could be improved before I took the course, but I don't think I'm necessarily recommending the course as much as I recommend spending some time finding a professor that is willing to help and get the best out of you.

    Course highlights:

This course has taken the stress and anxiety that would have normally been attached to writing a paper in high school, by being more detailed in how proper academic papers should be written

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Love what you doing. In my particular class, we had lots of flexibility on what to write about. Only write about things that interest you. They will be better papers anyway.
