Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I never would have realized how much more my writing could be improved before I took the course, but I don't think I'm necessarily recommending the course as much as I recommend spending some time finding a professor that is willing to help and get the best out of you.

    Course highlights:

This course has taken the stress and anxiety that would have normally been attached to writing a paper in high school, by being more detailed in how proper academic papers should be written

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Love what you doing. In my particular class, we had lots of flexibility on what to write about. Only write about things that interest you. They will be better papers anyway.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Yeo is an amazing teacher who is really skilled in working with a class and encouraging intellectual discussion among her students. Her class is not too difficult and as long as you do the daily assignments the larger assignments are not stressful. This is a writing class so there's definitely a lot of that but nothing is busywork. Doing the small writing assignments gets the students writing everyday and that's what will improve your writing the most.

    Course highlights:

The first day of taking the course she warned us that we would be writing about monsters the whole semester, which was very exciting to me. I think often writing classes can be mundane because the topics you're writing about are uninteresting, but in this class Dr. Yeo made sure we had a very interesting topic to discuss in our writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the daily assignments. They build toward the bigger projects, and they also enhance the in class discussions which will make the class more enjoyable and you'll get more out of it. They are also very helpful to build your experience with writing so you can become more comfortable with writing and that will make bigger writing assignments in any class an easier task.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend him as a professor since he is very passionate about the concepts he teaches.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course included the essays we had to write over poetry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would go to his class on-time as well as take notes on his constant PowerPoint presentations.
