    Course Overview:

    Definitely take this class! Professor Moore has brilliant insight and is an amazing connection to have in the industry. The things you learn in this class will build your foundation in the industry!

    Course highlights:

    You will learn the foundation and fundamentals of the music business.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you do the reading! He lectures over the reading each week, but it's so helpful to have already read, and he will respect you a lot more if you know the material prior to lecture.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this class for anyone interested in music business because it gives you a very rounded view of what really goes on whether it be with artists, their team or even their music.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course was learning about the different types of licenses for different things, all the rates that various music outlets use and the different necessary team members.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Really focus on the lists/numbers you see in the teacher's notes and in your book. ALWAYS read the chapters and expand further by finding different sites with deeper information.

    Incredibly insightful! The research projects are fun too!

    Course highlights:

    I learned a little of everything when it comes to the music business. I learned how tours work, how to register for ASCAP, and how to read and write a contract.

    Be ready to Google a lot of legal terms.
