    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it creates a great starting point to a college career. It develops writers and can help prepare you efficiently for ENGL 1020.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was getting to write a paper about what movie we think should have won the Movie of the Year Oscar on our choice of the particular year. It taught me that English class writing did not always have to be boring.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course but consider a different teacher first.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because I not only learned to analyze better, I learned how to better understand people in general by analyzing different point of views. This effectively gives real world advice and themes to better understand people'e point of views and reasons for their decisions.

    Course highlights:

I learned to better analyze a work to understand what the writer's intended purpose is in the work. I also learned how there are many aspects and views that can be determined from a single piece of work based on different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you do the assigned work so you have better understanding when the analysis is discussed in class because it prepares for the essay for each assignment.
