Dr. Becker has a very concise way of explaining Accounting fundamentals. She is direct, understanding and helpful. She encourages students to ask questions and to seek help from the Accounting lab. She believes that ALL questions are good questions and will find a way to help you understand.
I learned the fundamentals of Accounting in this course. I learned how to journalize, make T accounts, complete Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Retained Earnings accounts, and what debit and credit accounts really are.

Advice for students:
Make sure to do your homework in the MAL. Also take concise and thorough notes. Listen and ask questions if you do not understand something. Come to every class prepared with your printouts and read the chapters that you are going over in class beforehand.
