    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course should not be taken online.

    Course highlights:

I learned alot. The lauch pad assignments were great, I just needed a teacher that i saw on a weekly basis.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Don't it online. Classroom instruction is important.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor McGill is an excellent teacher. Im not big on math but its so easy to pay attention and understand what she is saying. I would definitely recommend her!

    Course highlights:

Im usually not good at paying attention to things I don't understand, but she made it so simple, even from me. The biggest highlight was being able to actually learn and know what I was doing!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO IT. This is the best math teacher I have had and I honestly don't think you will regret it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Hicks is a GREAT professor. He was willing to meet with me outside of class and office hours due to scheduling issues. He always comes to class early, and stays late if you have any questions. He is very willing to answer questions about homework in front of the whole class (which is nice when no one understand what's going on). He teaches the same thing 2/3 different ways, which is nice if you do not understand the first time. It can be confusing though, so if you understand one method, stick with it (and tune him out for the rest). Study groups are the BEST for this class! There are a lot of assignments (at least two due every week) and group encouragement and help is always nice.

    Course highlights:

Z-scores, P-scores (other letter)-procedures. etc, etc, etc. I actually learned a lot, but I do not remember a lot of material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THE LEARNING CURVES. Yes, they are a huge pain, but if you are not understanding the material, it is helpful to get the extra practice. The online textbook will take you right to the problem you are struggling with to help you. Do your homeworks and quizzes - this will keep your grade at bay. I had a 93% in the class until the final (which I made a 67% on). I didn't take the time to understand the material, and instead learned it and dumped it. Definitely take the time to understand everything at least for the final, and especially if you continue your math career.
