Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allows the student to further his or her knowledge on grammar and also writing. A student can expect to write four essays. All essays will be thoroughly revised by the writer and also Mrs. Butterfield. The final grade will be a mixture of the grammar, punctuation, and quality of the student's essay.

    Course highlights:

I enjoy writing, therefore writing the essays was a highlight of this course. One thing that I highly enjoyed about this course was the subject matter of the essays. Although we were given a topic, they were very broad so that the writer was able to write a unique essay. I also enjoyed getting to read my essay out loud to my draft day group. It was easier to see my mistakes and also get advice from others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice that I can give about English Composition One would be to start your essays early. Procrastination has always been an issue to me. It is a bad habit to start in college. I started my first essay directly when we received our essay topic. I made a wonderful grade. Not procrastinated definitely paid off. If you start your essay early, you can understand the subject matter better by the final copy.
