    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Casey Cole is one of the best professors I have had at Lee. She keeps most of her options neutral but when she is passionate about something she lets everyone know. The class is mentally demanding. There is so much that I thought I knew but I really had no idea about because it had never been questioned.

    Course highlights:

The end of semester project is really interesting. I learned all about other denominations and how they are different from my own. I learned about the Trinity and atonement paradigms and incarnation theories. We also discussed Christian feminism and how it is biblical which is extremely different from how I was taught as a child.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Turn all of your work in on time! She is pretty lenient but do not take advantage of her. Also do the readings because most of the quizzes she gives are over what you are assigned to read.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Casey Cole was an excellent professor. She was well versed in the subject matter and continually incorporated unique approaches to bring the course material alive and interesting. The course covered a wide range of topics and debates under the heading of Theology.

    Course highlights:

I always thought Theology and Religion was boring, predictable and stiff. This course was honestly quite fascinating and not at all what I had expected! Although this course only loosely covered a broad subject matter, it occasionally delved more into depth with certain topics. I found the sections covering the incarnation of Christ and various doctrines and heresy regarding the incarnation and resurrection to be interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend taking good notes since you can get extra credit for those. Definitely write the all of the RWA's (Reading and Writing) and follow the guide closely. These are not hard to write once you get the style down. Although the weekly readings cover what is discussed in class and it is easier to understand and contribute to the discussion if you have read them, they are not necessary (the syllabus says they are required, but there is not 'check up' to make sure you read them).

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Cole was incredible! She is a younger professor, which helps immensely when she give references to modern examples. She also went out of her way to make sure that everyone understood what was being taught, as well as, making sure that all of her students felt loved and supported. She even met me for lunch several times to talk to through life!

    Course highlights:

We learned about different views of theology, the definition of theology, the basics of theology, and how to approach our own beliefs with our new knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen and take excellent notes! If you can do that, you will do really well in this class!
