Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was difficult but I passed due to the fact that my teacher taught us effectively and I studied outside of class.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, I learned how to gather and decipher different statistics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, I did the WebAssign homework at least 24 hours early which allowed for extra credit. This brought my homework grade above 100% which helped me tremendously in the course. It also helped me to buy the book ($25) and do the practice problems in each section before any quiz/ test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She's very good at explaining the problems clearly, and covering all test material in depth before exams. Webassign and attendance are the keys to passing her class successfully. As long as you show up, take detailed notes of what she writes on the board, and make sure to get webassign done, you're good to go. She also offers a good amount of extra credit.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course I learned a lot about excel and how to operate it. I learned how to use Excel on Microsoft to do stats problems for me. I learned basic statistics, and how to graph accurately.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure that you do all of your webassign homework. Don't miss more than three classes, because attendance is a big thing for her. And go to all of her exam reviews the night before the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it teaches you how to problem solve. Most math classes make you do pointless calculations and the answers to these problems are pointless.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was the probability chapter because we learned how to work with Excel and how to conduct proper pole taking. We surprisingly spent a lot of time on this because there is a lot that goes into this to get an accurate reading on the population.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have any questions at all go to the teacher's office hour and picker their brain. I can not teach myself math and I need a tutor! I would definitely recommend seeing the teacher if running into any problems.
