Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My English teacher, Ms. Sydnor, she's just really nice, both in and out of class. She really likes helping other people and she pushes you to go out of your way (if you can) to do something to make the community better.

    Course highlights:

The school year has just started, but so far what I would say the highlight of this course is when we went out to communities affected by the recent hurricane that plagued Houston TX. We started with people in our school who needed help with cleaning or just putting things out on the front yard, then went on to help strangers and everybody was just trying to put in whatever effort they can to help out.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just have fun. Take it easy. The course is meant to educate students in a fun way without imposing the pressure that freshman college would typically be bombarded with.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course really helps you learn how organize a thought out subject. I took it as a online course so that I was able to move at my own pace, but keep in mind this course takes a lot of time management. Upon completion you will feel confident in your ability to write.

    Course highlights:

You will learn time management with all of the papers you will be doing, while teaching you how to increase writing and vocabulary skills. This course really gets you thinking on different subjects and how to speak about them, or persuade an audience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to those considering this course is to manage your time. You should stay positive and make sure you collect information by allowing yourself enough time to do research. You should also keep your ideas organized and always review your work .

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher really made you work. If you aren't willing to put in the time, I wouldn't recommend you take this class.

    Course highlights:

I wrote tons of essays which has helped me learn !

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I needed to set aside special time just for myself to learn something.
