Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very effective and introducing me to the healthcare field!

    Course highlights:

The course was not very hands on, however it was very interactive! Sharing my opinion in an accepting environment was nice.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are interested in the nursing field, this is a requirement. You will not begrudge administration for enforcing this class however. Enjoy it!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it covers the foundation of nursing and the main topics that will be covered as a student advances in nursing school.

    Course highlights:

This course offered informative class sessions but also set aside time for discussions. I was able to gain insight to nursing because my professor had been a nurse and shared her experiences which helped solidify information. I learned how to handle situations spiritually, how to take into consideration the beliefs of others, and also a lot about myself. I learned about my values in life and how those will affect me as a nurse

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE READING. There are also online resources such as practice NCLEX test questions and she styles her questions around those. There are also questions at the back of each chapter. The more practice questions you do, the better! Also, do not be afraid to mark up the book. I was at first but it really helped me to highlight the important parts.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very challenging but it also will help me tremendously when I get into the higher level of nursing classes.

I learned the basics of the nursing field such as the legal aspects and how to provide effective and personal care to a patient.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study and take as many NCLEX style questions based on the reading as you can.
