Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor made sure that the course was entertaining and that you maintained the knowledge that you gained.

    Course highlights:

The professor liked to tie in his personal life events to the lessons so I learned what the military people say when apologizing as well as boxing movements.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a really interesting course and if you stay engaged you will not have a hard time during the semester.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have no interest whatsoever in Sociology, but this professor made the class so personal and enjoyable that I ended the semester with a 99A average! It was definitely my favorite class so far, although I have only taken 4. She gives extra credit opportunities, the Murder at the Mansion event was so much fun! Absolutely loved this course!

    Course highlights:

I can take what I learned in this course and use it in my history, economics, and my English class. I have, in fact, done this. The book helped a lot because it was very straight forward and explained things very thoroughly. I enjoyed watching videos and then analyzing them, we did this for one of our main papers. I aced it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do it! So worth it, and it was informative, even if you do not need It for your major. Make sure to listen to everything she says, I promise you will not be bored. Take many notes and you will be just fine!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in studying the social aspects of humans. The teacher was very helpful, she taught in a way that was easy for all students to learn, and she covered the material thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained knowledge about the various social standpoints of people in society. I also earned how to identify and address social problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students considering this course to take advantage of the powerpoints the professor has available on her website and use them to study for the chapter quizzes. I would also advise to participate in classroom conversations because any and all input is valued within the learning environment.
