Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a course every college students needs to take. It is an engaging, interesting, and lively course that you will get so much out of. Not only will you knowledge of psychology that you did not already know, you will use the lessons and material you learned in your everyday life, and you will see the world, and yourself through a new point of view.

    Course highlights:

I learned to be more aware of my feelings, and actions, and how to connect with myself on a deeper level. Also, I was taught how to see other individuals behaviors, or thoughts from a new perspective. This has allowed me to take a step back, and become a better person overall.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students going into this course to have an open mind, and be ready to talk about personal things that are otherwise avoided in everyday life. This course is meant to give you a background of how psychology came to be, and dive deeper into your mind, thoughts, and behaviors.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course particularly for those that have an interest in how the brain works and would like to have a better understanding in why some people are the way they are. It is an intro class, so it focuses on psychology as a whole. I suggest taking this course first to get a basic understanding and then proceed on to the other courses that focus on a specific area of psychology.

    Course highlights:

We covered topics such as individual development, learning, memory, behavior, etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class because you believe it is an easy A and do not blow it off. Some of the topics that we covered were a little difficult and required several hours of studying. I suggest reading all course materials, taking notes in class, listen to the professor, and write down key points that the professor makes during lecture. When studying, make a concept map from your notes to condense the material into categories; this will help you! All of this may sound tedious, but it is worth it! Oh, and do all homework even if the professor says it is not mandatory. Some professors give you extra credit points on your exam if you do the suggested workbook pages.
