    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Firstly it's what we call a GenEd, General Education, requirement. I recommend Dr.E for Bio majors because he teaches with a very clear tone and makes sure one understands the content. He's very helpful as well. Especially if you meet him in his office hours.

    Course highlights:

I gained all the knowledge I needed in order to transfer over to the spring course of Biology. A lot of the course material was a kind of refresher for me because I knew a lot of it from high school biology. However, that doesn't take away from the difficulty of this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study, and make sure you're paying attention. The book is not really necessary since most of the knowledge you need comes from the PowerPoint. If you're putting in at least 2-3 hours of studying everyday you should be fine. Of course that depends on your information retention. Also, and Dr. E will say this himself, don't solely rely on reciting information verbatim. Take a question and look at it a bunch of different ways. Because he will ask it a bunch of different ways.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an extremely difficult course. It was mainly difficult because of the professor. He spoke really quietly and was hard to hear in lecture and he was very monotoned. The class average for tests were never higher than a 60. He never gave any outside assignments so the test were your only source of grading.

    Course highlights:

I learned about animal behavior and plants. The animal behavior part was pretty interesting!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and always listen for things that he repeats in class. It's always on the test of he spends a lot of time talking about it.
