    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course taught me how to deliver my assignments in a prompt manner. It refined my artistic talents and assisted me in creating a marketable and well-rounded portfolio.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the art of bookbinding, media exploration, observational drawing, assembling design problems, and researching contemporary fine artists. I created pinhole cameras and developed film using darkroom manipulation.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work several hours every week on your assignments. Never procrastinate ; otherwise, they will accumulate quickly. The assignments are meant to sound outlandish- they will stretch your imagination.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it highly because this course introduces you to some of the most beautiful and influential pieces of art you will ever see in your life. It is also helps you to understand the way art has changed through the years; what has made it what it is today. The best part about it, to be honest is that unlike Art History classes (which are required for Art Majors) you don't have to do so much date memorization but you still get a crash course in the history of art in a way that I would consider more enjoyable when you are less focused on the exact dates and more looking at it from the perspective of the time periods.

    Course highlights:

I got to see beautiful art and that was very inspiring! I did learn what the movements were called and how to recognize different characteristics that reflected certain styles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you love art but don't have the time to memorize dates this is a great way to understand the movements and time periods of importance for different styles and pieces.
