This class was tough.
Passing this course is simple. Read the assigned chapters and do the practice problems. That being said, you will learn nearly nothing in lecture. It's all you. Tests aren't extremely difficult but they are hand written and can be a little disorganized and hard to read at times.
Organic chemistry is hard but explains so much that you won't even realize you didn't understand. It is valuable information to know even if you aren't a science major.

Advice for students:
Make mechanism flash cards! It's tedious but you have to! Read ahead because the labs often covered things we hadn't yet covered in lecture. Don't get behind because it will be nearly impossible to catch up!
