    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

History is important. I have always heard history repeats itself, so therefore you will know what to expect when it comes to that.

    Course highlights:

the highlights of this class was interesting to experience the participation. I learned how to embrace the past as I look to succeed in the future just knowing about the issues that my forefathers experienced.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit closer to front of class and give your undivided attention

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because of how the class lessons were organized. Generally I like to learn history chronologically (by the date). This class, including the book, sectioned everything off by topic so you end up bouncing around a lot from one date to the other. It makes no sense to learn about 1850 and then jump to 1990 before backtracking again to 1888. It wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't had to memorize the dates for exams. In addition, we had to go to historical locations outside of class for two different assignments and most were not close to home.

    Course highlights:

I cannot determine any highlights and I did not learn any new information.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Perhaps try to take it from a different professor, maybe it will be set up differently or use a different book. Either that or settle with a different history subject altogether. This was the most difficult classes I took at MTSU and that takes into account honors classes.
