    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you take it with Sean Salter he is pretty good at making you understand the process. He also gives advice on different jobs that uses a finance major if you are interested.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use the finance calculator to solve simple stocks and bonds question will come in hand with my accounting classes,

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go to class so that you will be able to use your calculator. Never for get your calculator on test day. If you have time to talk to him before class if you need anything he is there to help.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course itself is valuable and full of useful information that will benefit everyone from accountants to those who want to run their own business. However, the professor did little to prepare students for exams or even homework. I learned more in a short session with a tutor than I did in an entire semester with this professor's lectures.

    Course highlights:

It covered the fundamentals of business finance, which included the time value of money, pricing of bonds and stocks, measuring risk, and cost of capital, among other things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a different professor. Get the HP Bii+ calculator or a similar model and learn how to use it well, as you don't have the option to use excel on tests.
