    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Holley has a real passion for history and you can see it through his teaching. Although he lectures, he make sure the entire class understands and even thinks of fun ways the class can understand the course more. The exams come exactly from the guide and from his lectures and powerpoints. Great Professor!

    Course highlights:

My highlights were how he taught us what we needed to know. I loved how passionate the professor was, and his sense of humor, allowed others to be more engaged in the course. He allowed us to be as engaged as we want and is very lenient. I learned how to develop study mechanisms in order to improve on my grades and learn that meeting with other students in the class helped as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to make sure to study for the assignments and exams necessary. This course is not difficult but does challenge you to a certain extent. If you put hard work in the course, you will definitely excel.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Her teaching method isn't the best of methods, even though she is very knowledgeable in her topic. She has no powerpoint or visuals, and her tests are all essays, you must be prepared to spit back everything she's taught onto paper.

    Course highlights:

Although it was a tough course and required a lot of memorization, I learned a lot in this course. I learned much more about US history after 1865 than in any of my previous history classes. I learned all about the relationships between Native Americans and the Government in the west, and we also went over both World Wars in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study Study Study!!! Make sure your notes are organized and study each separate topic for the tests. She'll give you lots of options to write about on the test, so just study a few that you're most confident about and write as much as you can.
