    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class does not play around with its homework. Expect to literally spend over 2 hours on each assignment. Online homework is very picky and entering responses correctly can be time consuming.

    Course highlights:

Definitely a great course for intro to Statistics. You will learn very much. Material is covered extremely fast, so prepare to study after class to truly understand concepts.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want a challenging course. Take this class with Dr. Sundeen. It is worth it in the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought this course was a very mediocre class. If you enjoy a class that is always weeks behind the syllabus, and straight from the workbook this class is for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from Stats from this course both from the book and professor. I learned a lot of probability.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you put the time in at home, or you could potentially fall behind.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was very easy, as long as you keep up with your homework. She tells you how to do everything step by step, and she is always willing to help her students, inside and outside of class. She assigns a lot of homework; however, if you manage your time wisely, you will be able to get it done by the due date.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class were the labs. I learned how to apply statistics to real life situations through these hands on labs. The skills have been very valuable in some of my other classes, especially sciences.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your homework and don't be afraid to ask questions. You should break your homework into equal sections, so that you are only doing a little bit per day, rather than doing it all at once the night before. If there is something about the material you don't understand, ask Ms. Elliott in class or via email, or ask your fellow classmates. If there is something you don't understand about what is taught and you don't get help, you will fall behind because everything builds on top of the last thing.
