    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because you get to read such a wide variety of interesting literature. It could easily be a course in which all the works studied were written by white men, as Ms. Lambert says, but she has made it so that a fairly diverse group of authors are written. The class is discussion based and that can be a little intimidating, but no one is ever made to feel stupid for their opinions.

    Course highlights:

I would say the biggest highlight was reading Thomas King's Green Grass, Running Water. It taught me a lot about Native American culture and was full of humor. Discussing it in class was a lot of fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say make sure you always do the reading and prepare for discussion before you come to class. The tests are comprised of several short answer questions and an essay, so make sure you not only look at the study guide but also fill it out. Because if you don't at least have a really good idea of what you're going to write, it will be difficult to get the test done in time.
