    Course Overview:

    It is a great way to get to know others, and to face your fear of public speaking. Also, Mrs. Magill is awesome and will help in any way possible!

    Course highlights:

    I learned about each and everyone of the people in my class, made new friends, and now feel more comfortable to speak to a group.

    Make sure you complete an outline and practice before speaking!

    This course will give you experience in speaking in front of others with immediate constructive feedback from the professor and peers.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to project my voice throughout the room and how to make a very thorough outline.

    Course Overview:

    I would highly recommend this course! The instructor is stern, but highly qualified for the position. She encourages you to push yourself and gives lots of helpful tips to help you with any problems.

    Course highlights:

    The speech assignments give you freedom to choose your own topic. This course may be challenging at first, yet it is worth the short term struggle for the long term skills you gain. Public speaking has helped and will continue to help me in many areas of my life!

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    The advice I would give all student formtjis course is to listen to the instructor and take notes about what a great public speaker does throughout their speech. It is very important to practice your speeches out and time yourself to ensure you meet all the project criteria!
