    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Christie Beal is an awesome professor and she takes the time to go in to detail a bit more than any other Biology teacher. This class started off as a bane in my existence, but I actually gave it a chance and it turned out to be an awesome experience and I passed the class.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were the Biology workshops, they really helped in commiting things to memory.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you put in the time to actually review was was taught and test yourself.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this class if you are a science major. It is very useful to know a lot of the information given in biology.

    Course highlights:

    Office hours were the best, the professor really explained everything out and you learned better ways to study and gain knowledge.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to office hours, ask a lot of questions and spend at least one hour reviewing before class and after class. Staying on task is key to understanding bio and falling behind is not in your favor.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    If you have a love for science, I would definitely recommend. Almost every lecture the professor gave mesmerized me.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course for me was learning about the nervous system and how reflexes work. You learn a ton in this class: Evolution and Natural Selection, Molecular Biology, Behavioral Biology, Genetic Biology, and the list goes on.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You can put yourself on auto-pilot in this class. You have to be constantly engaged.
