Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Methot is an amazing professor and you can tell right away that she is engaged in teaching this class. She is super funny and her teaching methods are interesting and fun. She plays a lot of clips from "The Office" for examples for the class which keeps it fun and interesting.

    Course highlights:

I actually realized I want to have a career in Human Resources after taking this class. I wish I would have majored in HR rather than Sociology. I learned a lot about the workplace and managing a corporation/organization, different cultures of businesses, structures of corporations and how they operate and a lot more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely show up to every single one of her classes or else you won't succeed. Professor Methot literally feeds you the information, you just need to be present to listen. Also, it's helpful to do the study guides although her tests are simple enough that if you payed attention in class you will know the answers to her tests. They are all multiple choice based tests.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was engaging and very applicable to my career and future. It provided great insight on the inner workings of the management industry. It further developed my understanding of the regulations of human resource management and the methods behind it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the development and history of human resource management itself, in addition to the current practices and policies that companies utilize. The part I most enjoyed was learning about the regulations and practices that were created to protect workers, such as preventing forced labor union memberships within organizations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't skip class! Even if the lectures are boring, they are definitely important! Everything on exams is in the lectures.
