Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for students who struggle with communicating or makes a habit of keeping things in. It gives you a chance to let things out without the judgment of others(hopefully). It's very therapeutic, to say the least.

    Course highlights:

I learned different styles of writing. Poetry, non fiction, fiction. The list goes on a on. I learned how to make my writing stand out more without the incorporation of irrelevant details. Most importantly, I learned to use other techniques in my writing that some authors are well-known for.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the course with an open mind. Prior to registering for this class I was worried that I was going to be reading tons of books and writing endless amounts of material but it wasn't pressuring at all. We all did things as a class and leaned from one another.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It serves as a much needed creative outlet and brings balance to a course layout where required courses would most likely (heavily) outweigh courses a student actually wants to take.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was its creative freedom. Even in assignments where there were specific requirements, the instructor still made sure there was a significant amount of wiggle room for students to enjoy the work and make the pieces their own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember that creativity is the most important factor and be willing to put effort into your work. Effort makes many assignments, inside and out of a creative writing class, more enjoyable. If one is willing to do the work, the course can be quite fun and refreshing.
