    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course with this professor. She does not teach well, and most of the material then has to be self studied. Her exams are unnecessarily hard.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the financial operations within companies.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would give the advice to take the course at a county college for non accounting majors.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a required course in Rutgers Business School. It is very interesting to learn because it gives you concepts behind budgeting correctly when it comes to working with a supply chain.

    Course highlights:

The course taught us about budgets for overhead prices, raw materials, and labor hours. It was an in depth analysis on making decisions when it comes to how much labor to hire, how much materials can be afford, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It is very important to pay attention in class despite how distracted you may get. The in class quizzes give you a good idea on how much of the material you understand. The online quizzes and homework can help boost your grade and drill the material further. The practice exams she gives out, it is important to go over them in depth and make sure you understand how to do the problems. Make sure during class you work on the in class homework problems because these are very similar questions she enjoys using. Understand the in class homework problems and practice exams well and you should do fine in the class.
