    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Adolescent Development gave me insight to understanding the adolescent mind. I learned about an adolescent's work habits, gender and sexuality, friendships, relationships, family, self-identity, and many other topics. The class gave me the knowledge to identify personalities and traits in my future students as an education major.

    Course highlights:

You will take care of a virtual teen in this class. You will raise it from age 0 to 18. It asks thorough questions about parenting and every answer you give determines your child's destiny!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You must read the textbook thoroughly. I would attend lectures too. You have to have a very very thorough understanding of the material. Very hard to get an A in this class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Mayhew is hilarious and very inviting, but the material is definitely consuming.

    Course highlights:

I loved the virtual teen component of the course during which we were asked to raise our own virtual child. I learned a lot about decision-making as a parent.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and go to every class! You will miss valuable information if you miss class a lot!
