    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love Shtelen. He is so kind and intelligent and I highly recommend him. I had him for Calc 2 and Linear Algebra, and I did really well in both classes. Two things you should know: 1) 85+ is an A, but tests are hard.

    Course highlights:

Key here is that this is a college math class. You must practice PROBLEMS to do well. 2) He gives points back if you justify it!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only negatives is that he can be somewhat quiet and he can throw a curveball on exams with stuff you learned earlie

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The best way to succeed in Calculus is through application. I can understand why she uses PowerPoint, but she should at least give students a chance to practice.

    Course highlights:

You don't ever get to think in her class or use what you just learned because she hands you all the answers in her slides. Mindless note-taking for an hour and a half is not good teaching

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

She doesn't really have an open view point. It's either you see things her way or not even bother talking to her.
