    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Beal tries to give you good analogy to explain several difficult concepts of biology. Even if she doesn't upload her powerpoint slides on school website, if you go to a lecture, you are allowed to take a pic of slides. Her slides are very organized and make you easy to complete bios forms that you have to fill in for bio workshops. However, I would not recommend this course at the same time since her notes are little bit easier than a test, which makes you harder to prepare for the actual exam.

    Course highlights:

Since this course is General Biology, I picked up and learned about general and broad biology concepts, such as ecology, genetic, and basic chemistry. This course gives you a glimpse of any courses related to my major. I am majoring in Pharmacy, which will require me to learn about human body and health in general. This course allowed me to think about my potential in my major.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Cramming until right before an exam would never work for this course. Since this class covers tremendous amount of work, they have to keep track of their lectures and organize their notes every class or even every week. If they have their notes and memorize their notes every week, they will do find on final exam, which is cumulative.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is a fast lecturer and goes through the slides quickly. His office hours, especially around exam time is really helpful.

    Course highlights:

I liked learning about evolution and meeting other classmates who really helped me and are a good resource.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely study your notes after the class if you do not understand the material. I would also recommend going on http://www.bialigy.com/ which goes over the lectures in more detail (he is a former Rutgers student)! Also, do well in workshop

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

whatever you do, DO NOT take this class. I read all the reviews on rate my professor beforehand and decided to test my luck and take the class anyway but it was easily one of my worst decisions. I

    Course highlights:

I ended the class with the C by some miracle. SAVE YOUR GPA and don't take the class

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

They should fire this course coordinator if Rutgers wants to keep their reputation maintained.
