    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you will likely need the experience it offers in the "real world" or interviews -- these communication skills are required and essential for developing yourself as a person in the workplace and beyond.

    Course highlights:

The skills I learned in this course helped me succeed in other courses by increasing my knowledge in how to give presentations, since many college courses require some form of presentation during the end of the term.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I encourage you to voice your ideas and take advantage in this course before someone comes up with an idea similar to yours for a presentation. I would also like to say that anxiety is a normal thing before public speaking but if you pay attention to the notes the professor has to offer, you can punch fear in the face.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Amazing class - really easy A. Go to class, professor is an old dude, but he's actually super cool.

    Course highlights:

Take notes - tests are fill in the blank, verbatim to what he writes on the board.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare your speech and honestly, fake it till you make it. If you speak with confidence and poise, you'll do great!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great class to learn about public speaking!

    Course highlights:

You have to make 4 speeches in from a class of roughly 20 students, and Hercky gives you extra credit. It's a good class, because it fulfills multiple requirements for SAS core!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be careful, the grading policy was rough, because 94 was an A! Make sure you're on top of your work and really try for your speeches.
