Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This course was tough at certain points, especially towards the end, but it was very rewarding. It definitely helped with physics, which I was taking at the same time. The biggest challenge that I faced was that many of the problems were long and tedious, and small errors in calculations could lead to large errors in the answers.
The highlights of this course were the real world applications that the professor made efforts to apply. He showed how statics was used in everyday life, applying what we were learning to structures such as bridges. He displayed how careful we all need to be as engineers because even slight miscalculations could mean a big difference in results.

Advice for students:
Take it if you are confident in your mathematics skills and attention to detail. Professors won't fault you for small errors, but you must be sure not to compound these errors while completing problems.
