Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I 100% recommend this course. Even if you are unsure of your future and career path, this course will be helpful for you in adjusting to the fast pace and information overload oriented life of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) majors. If you can do well in this course, you can have some peace of mind about your future.

    Course highlights:

In this close, the focus lied on the various functions of the human body. While the first half of Biology focuses on the chemical intricacies of various biological components in the world, the second half was streamlined to focus on the human body. As you learn about the human body, the various bodily systems and their processes, you are very vividly transported into the workings of your own body. The lessons and lectures became less school and more like an immersion into the millions of day to day ongoings in the human body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do yourself a favor and don't work hard, work smart. Memorizing things is tough but giving yourself pneumonic devices and paying attention in class will pay off later. Don't skip lecture and use websites and online resources to supplement your in class notes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bendaud was an excellent professor and really cared if her students did well or not.

    Course highlights:

Sexual reproduction an plants (in general) were difficult, but with enough study you can master them. They were also the most interesting topics to me and my classmates. The workshop also helped with learning the material.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not cram, there is a lot of material. Study diligently and you will see the results. The material is not hard, its just a lot at the same time.
