Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommence if you are a science major .

    Course highlights:

Bio workshop is a drag but it can help you grade out alot.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do a little bit of studying each week and do not wait till the week of the midterm or final to pile everything on.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Out of the 3 professors teaching Gen Bio, I would say Cardinale is the second best. Downsides - he goes fast at times and sometimes teaches you information on a subject that is interesting but not necessary for the exam. Upsides - you can see clearly that he knows what he is talking about and he takes questions during lecture.

    Course highlights:

Watching videos of certain biological processes in action in nature and learning to visualize multiple systems working together in harmony, especially in the human body.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Stay up to date of what is currently being covered. Don't save reviewing material until workshop because it will have a greater impact on your grade than you realize. Be active in finding on campus and online resources that help you understand the material because there are a million and one things out there.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professors and TA's are very well rounded on every topic presented and the course structure is such that it forces the student to really contemplate the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely the discussion of body systems, the topics went so in depth on each system, how they worked, the diseases associated with them, and how they come together to form a living organism.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the outcomes given at the beginning of lecture, they are imperative for passing this course.
