    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course especially since it is a requirement for all freshmen to take, but it also helps introduce the process of college writing.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to interpret the texts that we were assigned to read in our own ways and share how we would explain it in an essay format.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the texts and highlight and make notes as you go through. You will be told to add many quotes in your essays for supporting your idea.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Unlike many professor, he takes time in the beginning of the course to go over things like grammar, punctuation, and paragraph structure. I found this to be extremely helpful in regards to my success in the course.

    Course highlights:

Its Expos, there are no highlights, however, with the right professor, it may not be as brutal.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take advantage of office hours.
