    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course especially since it is a requirement for all freshmen to take, but it also helps introduce the process of college writing.

    Course highlights:

    We learned how to interpret the texts that we were assigned to read in our own ways and share how we would explain it in an essay format.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Always read the texts and highlight and make notes as you go through. You will be told to add many quotes in your essays for supporting your idea.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Unlike many professor, he takes time in the beginning of the course to go over things like grammar, punctuation, and paragraph structure. I found this to be extremely helpful in regards to my success in the course.

    Course highlights:

    Its Expos, there are no highlights, however, with the right professor, it may not be as brutal.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take advantage of office hours.
